Thriving Thursday. This week has been pretty good and the charters even better. A little rough this morning I hear there is a lot of seagrass loading up on the lines so I don't feel too bad for not going out this morning as I was going to get in some fishing time myself. We have seen some good drum action this week with mullet, croaker, and blues. A local came in last night that was fishing sound side off of a boat but he was killing some big drum out there so there are some big fish out there right now if you can get out there. The piers this morning have mullet, croakers, bluefish, and puffers. Our charter fleet and especially Our captain Marcus on the Virginia Dare has been doing very well as of late. Yesterday on a 1/2 day trip scored mahi which really doesn't happen much but it is sounding like the fishing is heating up. He has also had some 9-hour trips going out to what we call the towers and getting some big amberjacks, yellowfin and mahi so he has a sweet spot out there somewhere? Going way offshore the yellowfin continue to bite hard and there are also some big wahoo coming in as well, mahi and billfish are on the lines too!! and don't forget those tilefish. Some spectacular fishing is going on.

Want to do a charter trip we have some excellent boats and captains and believe it or not we have some openings this next week available. This week was completely booked up so don't wait and book today!! Call the shop for details 252-453-3339
