Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Overcast Friday. We have 2-foot waves with 72-degree water. Reports this morning there is a good mullet and spot bite going on. We have seen some puppy drum this week a big bluefish and Spanish in the surf. Look ahead to Sunday; the waves will pick up for a couple of days. The fishing has been a little slow for the last couple of days but I think it will pick up and it's all about finding a good spot. No there is no magic spot I get asked that question too often it's fishing you have to be smarter than the fish. The pier action is croaker, puffer, pigfish, and spot. Nearshore boats are finding false albacore, bonito, ribbonfish, bluefish, and Spanish with drum and trout on the bayside. Offshore yellowfin is the dominant fish out there right now with some blackfin. The mahi bite has been good but slow as of late but I am sure it will come back around.

Charters are available just call the shop for details.
