Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Well, it's Saturday check-in so not too much to report. Rain tonight and it's already poured hard here. The surf fishing did slow up this last week till a couple of days ago and we are seeing a strong mullet and spot bite the mullet are a good size so you can get plenty to eat. The piers have been slow as well. We do have some action on the sound side as we are seeing the trout moving in with all the white perch you can catch. Nearshore boats finding bonita, albacore, ribbons, blues, and Spanish. Offshore dipped a bite with mostly yellowfin and blackfin for the table but we should start to see the marlin coming to life.
Lately, it seems everyone has the same idea on Thursdays and Fridays to go from Corolla down into town for dinner or shopping. Let me tell you the traffic going south has been unbearable those days it may be in your best interest to travel south early in the week and spend the rest of the time in Corolla and save yourself the aggravation, just an idea.

Fishing charters are available along with crab and shrimp trips are also open and shrimp season just opened.

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
