Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Signs of life. Paul and Autumn from Naperville IL I believe caught this nice drum on shrimp around 6 o'clock last night. We just may half to crown these two for this catch of the week because the surf fishing has been slow. Mullet, croaker, spot, and blues have been coming in but on the slow side of fishing. The water temp is 65 today and I think that's why we see this drum on the beach. It also plays into the nearshore fleet yesterday saw a good drum bite on some nice big drum. The water temp was at 75 so the cooler water seems to be what we needed, but it probably won't last long and will heat back up soon. The piers were slow but getting some blues and mullet. The offshore fleet found plenty of yellowfin, blackfin, and mahi yesterday. We will see how the rest of the week plays out and keep you up to date.

Charters are available along with the shrimp and crabbing trips the shrimping is off to an early start with some nice size shrimp.
