Well, it was a wet one yesterday as Ian passed on by. We did have some good fishing prior to the storm as you can see in the pictures above. Shayne Gilchrist and family caught some nice trout which really is the first I have heard of this year and they caught 3 on the 4x4 beach up to 24 inches then traveled down to Duck and scored their drum. Lynne scored her drum locally here in Corolla. We saw a good drum bite and there was also a large school of bluefish come on by and all good quality fish. Folks were fishing right up till it just got nasty and the beach went away. The waves are still large today and there is a good turnout on the piers this morning the weather is nice this morning and it's a good time to go throw a line out the drum will still be around. The water is dirty but I would still try. We do have more rain coming in Sunday and Monday we will just see how the week progresses.

Charters won't be going anywhere for a few days.

Got some pictures just send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
