Tis the end of the season and Rob did it in style on Thanksgiving day with a 24" black drum caught in Corolla on shrimp. I just got back into town last night as I was visiting family in Charlotte and could not do any reports over the holiday, but what a way to go out. I hope everyone had a great turkey day and there were a lot of people in the outer banks this week. Today will be the last day we are open till Christmas and New Year we will reopen for a short while over that holiday stretch and then we close for the season and we will be back at it in mid-March. It wasn't red hot fishing this week but there were fish to be caught with black drum, mullet, trout, and flounder. The offshore boats did well with yellow and blackfin and wahoo and with the inshore boats getting triggerfish, sea bass, albacore, and bonita. All in all, we had a pretty good fishing season as a whole and looking forward to next season but not before a long winter's nap. Till then everyone enjoy the rest of the holidays and we will see you all next year and thanks for the support we do appreciate all of you.

Don't forget for those of you wanting all day trips for next season to book early to get the day that you want if the store is closed you can always e-mail me at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and I will respond and get you all set up.
