Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Another scorcher today and we have some great conditions out. Tom is in town this week and he is one of our favorite 8 customers we have and shared some photos with us as he landed this nice 30" drum while on a charter kayak trip in Oregon Inlet, beautiful fish Tom well done. He also reported that the mullet bite has picked up along the surf up here which is great news as the fishing has improved a touch. We are still getting a lot of skates and some rays but the mullet are moving in other fish will follow this trend. The piers this morning and I do see some locals out there and so far there has been 1 nice size drum caught along with grey trout, speckled trout, and mullet. The ocean this morning is looking nice with 1 to 2-foot waves and today's water temp is 59 so we are starting to get into that magic number. The nearshore fishing has drum, trout, and some blues running around on the sound side on the ocean side not too much to say some sea bass and dogfish but this too will get better. The offshore fishing did low up yesterday but the boats still caught a good share of yellowfin, blackfin some Mahi and wahoo, and 1 blue marlin so not a bad day on the water either. The weather conditions in the gulf has been spectacular along with the fish. Today is going to be a hot one but a nice one so get out and enjoy the day!!

Charters are available and the captains are itching to go out and get these tunas you may also book a trip in advance, especially in June this is the most popular month for offshore action so don't miss out book today!!
