Well, Mother Nature is just being a ----- now. Patrick did send in his picture of the drum I reported the other day up at the state line in Carova and It's a beauty thank you Patrick and that was the best day I think we have had this week when the sun came out for the day. Earlier this week all signs were pointing toward the weather improving through the week and it did the complete opposite and we have this low pressure just stalling off of the coast. The winds are back with rougher seas and it's just making it unpleasant to be out there fishing. The word for now is that it will be this way for the rest of this week and there is a possibility that this will continue until the middle of June which to say will be a big bummer. This time last year the fishing was excellent and we are supposed to be in the low 80-degree mark this time of the year which it is not. All we can do at this point is take what we get but this wind affects the surf fishing as well as the charter fleet which has been out and the offshore fishing is there if you can brave the rough conditions. Along the beach, fishing remains slow with long soaks and maybe just maybe you score a good one. We have had some success on the sound side on our charter boat with trout, large-mouth bass, catfish, and a mess of perch. Down at the inlet, there are trout, bluefish, and spanish with a few mullet and blues from the piers. Rough seas today with waves at 3 to 4 feet and choppy and sloppy with the water temp at 65 and high tide at 6:11 this evening. That's all for now I will keep you up to date as I hear things and we thank you.
