Corolla Fish Report
Happy Hump Day. We have a cloudy and smoky day today which has what seems to have taken everyone off the beach and into town. The fires in Canada have affected us for at least today and we have some rain coming in this evening. We do have fairly flat ocean conditions out today with clear water and a 65-degree temp. Still no red hot action but we are seeing some fish coming in. Reports of some drum and some decent bluefish, mullet, and rays. Most fish are in the morning and at dusk for you fishing enthusiast. Also, cut mullet has also been the key, or at least what they want for now. The piers are slow with mullet and blues. The nearshore boats finally back running at at last count they are getting sea bass and ribbonfish. Offshore boats still getting good numbers of tuna, wahoo, mahi, and blue and white marlin. The rest of the week is looking good and we will keep you updated as thing change.
