OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Thursday, June 8, 2023
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Today we have real clean water conditions with 0 to 1-foot waves so basically it's flat out there like a lake right now and a 66-degree temp. So the conditions are great and the fishing is not so. Beach fishing has really just been long soaks for nada or one here and there. The blues have been biting in the morning and they have been decent size blues. We have spanish and blues from the piers this morning. Nearshore boats have picked up a little with sea bass, spanish, and ribbonfish. The offshore action remains good with a lot of mahi yesterday with some yellowfin, tilefish, and white marlin catches but the best part is the fish boxes are full. Pretty smoky out yesterday from the wildfires and last night's rain certainly cleaned things up but we are supposed to get more today as they say this afternoon's air quality is going to be bad. That's it for now be safe and enjoy we will keep you updated as we hear some new rumors
