Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Blowout for today! The wind is already blowing as a new front approaches and we will get rain and wind this afternoon and evening. The rest of the week though looks good and we should get back to fishing as today will be hard to fish.

Congratulations go out to a couple of happy anglers. Gage Kovach and Max McElhaney not sure where they are from but they both landed some nice bluefish and I think it's their first time so great job guys keep it up!!

The fishing along the surf continues to be slow with mullet, and bluefish and we did have a big sand tiger shark landed last night. South of the bridge does seem to have some better fishing right now we are waiting on some sort of movement for these fish to come north. The water temp today is 69 degrees with 1 to 2-foot waves. Around the inlet, we are seeing blues, trout, sheepshead, sea bass, and some cobia for you boaters. Offshore I don't think went out yesterday but the fishing remains good with lots of mahi, tuna, wahoo, billfish, sea bass, tilefish, and grouper.

FYI for those of you coming to North Carolina between June 27 and June 30th They State will be switching from its current format to the new format for fishing licenses. YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE YOUR FISHING LICENCE BEFOREHAND AND POST-DATE IT AS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PRINT THEM HERE FOR THOSE 3 DAYS. The new system comes back online on July 1st at 8 am. You will not be able to get one for those days so beware!!

You can also get parking passes in advance from the county of Currituck for the 4x4 beach you can only buy these online and I suggest getting them as soon as you can there are limited numbers of these passes available.
