Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Where have all the gone !! What can I say the fishing is just slow right now for no good reason. I have Thomas who reports in every day and this morning he caught one mullet. We have had reports of bluefish some mullet a couple of lost sheepshead some big rays and some large and small sharks caught. We had two reports today of something large hitting their lines but were broken off in the fight so we are not sure what this mysterious fish was. The piers are reporting fish however I have not seen much come over the rail on the cams. So we wait for something to break loose along the surf and I really wish I had something to tell you but I just tell it like it is. Offshore boats doing well with lots of mahi, tuna, big eyes, wahoo, and good bottom fishing too. Nearshore has ribbons, spanish, blues and sea bass. Trout on the inside with sheepshead on the structures. So there are fish down south. I will let you know if anything starts to happen.

FYI: Don't forget that the state is switching over to a new system for licensing and the system goes offline on June 27 at 5 pm and won't be available till July 1st at 8 a.m. If you are up here during that week you will need to get your license online beforehand as we will not be able to print them in the shop till July 1st. Nothing we can do about it so I just want to get the word out as much as I can and we thank you.
