As they say what a difference a day can make. Well, Tommy and George and friends have been at it all week and he sends me a fish report daily which I do appreciate. Well their patients finally paid off and they landed a 32" drum at dusk last night so well done gentlemen, well done. But wait there's more good news!! a walk-in report from Carova Beach with two more over-slot drum yesterday along with some 27" bluefish I know what's going on? Just as you think it can't get any better two youngsters came in and reported that they caught two drum on the sound side in Corolla Light they just haven't sent in the picture yet but I will share it as it comes in. Could this be the beginning of something great but I'm not willing to speculate as mother nature always seems to kick me in the butt. Also seeing some activity on the pier cams with some large spanish coming in over the rail. I'm just so excited that something has finally broken loose after weeks of just poor fishing. we also have some better word coming from the beach today with the mullet bite picking up also with spot an occasional trout and bluefish so at least we are seeing more activity out there and let's hope we can get things started finally. The piers with a good mix of spanish, blues sheepshead, and mullet. Nearshore boats not much has changed in the past few days with ribbonfish, spanish, and bluefish. The offshore fleet doing well if you can get past the sharks. The sharks have been a problem the past couple of days. They are still getting some of the fish in with some nice big eyes, yellowfin, wahoo, blue marlin, and tons of mahi. The bottom fishing is good as well with tilefish and sea bass with some grouper. Around the wrecks, there are some nice triggerfish to be had as well.

We do have all kinds of charter trips available just call the shop for details.

Don't forget the great state debacle when we won't have fishing licenses for three days starting June 27th till July 1 st we will not be able to print your license so be prepared and get one beforehand and post date it or chance getting fined, pass it along and we thank you.
