A new week begins. Well, we are through with the storms for now we might see some isolated showers today. The water is 71 today and calm but a little dirty from the recent weather. Overall this last week the fishing along the beach had been slow and the salps have been a problem as well loading up your line and they are a pain to get off. Hopefully, they have run their course and they go away this week. we did see some mullet this week and a drum here and there with spot and croakers. The shark fishermen were out there and they landed some big sandbar sharks this week. Boaters are back in the water with nearshore had a good load of mullet and spanish and drum. Offshore boats are back in action with yellowfin and a 101# wahoo landed with blue marlin and tilefish.

Charters are available this week just call the shop for details.

This is the week that the state will shut down their system for a fishing license which begins June 27th and will not restart till July 1st which is going to be a nightmare so there are going to be a lot of changes to get the new license which I have not even seen the new system till it comes online. The lines will be long and timely to get the new license and we are not even sure if we want to even continue to do this service anymore due to the new rules. We are going to try but not sure how long it will last. We have always tried to be a full-service tackle shop but the state has gone too far on this one.
