Try, try, and try again David Lucykanish from Palmerton, PA has done this week. They went 1 of 8 shark fishing this week and had some close to coming in before breaking off. Frustrated and needed more bait he came into the shop and said what was happening. We hooked him up with one of our homemade shark rigs and that night laded the shark in the photo and was very happy we loved having you in here David and good luck tonight I know you will get one. One thing folks don't realize is how much abuse the rigs take to pull one of these sharks in and I have had people look and buy the rig and question it but they're back the next day and said yea that does work and they do hold up.

Let's take a look at the week along the beach. I did get some reports this morning and evening. Reports of some under-size drum this morning along with mullet, spot, and kingfish. Some blues around and a trout here and there. Some folks went for scratch this week and others having some luck and others not too bad. Location location location. The big problem is the beach really has changed since that one storm from last year that really flattened out the beach and we lost most of the trough that we had I am thinking it's just not been a productive season this year for whatever reason.

The piers had spanish this morning with some blues, muller, perch, and sheepshead. The nearshore fleet had blues, spanish, and ribbons with reports on extended trips laned albacore, amberjacks, and mahi!!

Offshore some nice size yellowfin and some rather large tilefish.

Well, time to go tomorrow is the start of the 4th of July madness and I am not ready. We will keep you posted.

Charters are available just call the shop and ask for the charter dude I will be glad to help you out.
