Corolla Fish Report

Friday, July 7, 2023

Chad Dwire and Carter Brown landed a couple of nice sand tigers last night. These two were hooked up just about the same time and had to muster these guys on shore by themselves. This is part of the group I am calling the circus people and unfortunately, they leave tomorrow they have been a heck of a lot of fun this week but they will return next year!! Look forward to it Chad.
I did have one good report today as a couple of ladies were in and caught some bluefish and they said the dolphin were out the birds were crashing and there are minnows in the surf which is good news were you find baitfish you find predators. Still not a whole lot of productivity but folks are getting some action. We are seeing flounder, mullet, bluefish, pinfish, rays, and good old sharks. The piers today with sheepshead, flounder, mullet, pinfish, croaker, and spot. The nearshore fleet had spanish and ribbons. Offshore had some nice big tuna hitting the dock and there were releases of blue marlin, sailfish, and white marlin, and don't forget the tilefish.
