Corolla Fish Report
Hello to all my fellow fishermen and woman. Of course, we are beginning a new check-in day today and the conditions are good the ocean is still flat and the water temp did return and we are hitting that 80-degree mark. With that said I would say we are kinda going into that unpredictable range where anything is possible. Last week we had a good week with all the stuff that should be there this time of year. What's a little weird was the large drum mostly at night that were hitting the beach which is a little uncommon. All in all the fishing was good we saw drum, and some big blues, and by the way I am still waiting on those pics you guys you know who you are but back on the topic some big sharks also came in and the mullet, kingfish, spot fishing kept folks pleased. We also had a decent spanish bite if you were in the right area and some flounder so a good mix and just about all the bait was working there wasn't one or two working folks caught stuff on a variety of baits. I am just waiting to see if the Pompano will start to come in they should especially how hot the water is way down south my god some temps hitting 93 degrees not good. I don't know what the piers did today just because it's the weekend. Nearshore reports have spanish, ribbons, and blues but if you get a little longer trip you can get into some nice amberjacks, snaper, and some other goodies. Offshore we are getting more tuna hitting the docks with good loads of mahi, wahoo, sailfish, blue and white marlin, tilefish, and sea bass!! That's it for today but we will keep you informed the best we can.
