A Super Hot Friday we have today. Today we have a southwest wind at about 10 knots which is not our favorite wind to get it also cooled the water temp down to around 68 degrees. The water is dirty as well today but they are still catching fish. Some really good fishing on our half-day boat that runs right here in Corolla had a great morning which are the pictures I posted today along with a mess of trout. These trips run 550 for up to six people and the fishing up on the sound side has been very good if interested call the shop to reserve your spot these tips fill up fast. The shark fishing has been very good along the shore with one angler last knight reported 9 hookups and landed 7 of them, a pretty good knight, and as hot as it has been you can just sleep during the day. We did hear about one large redfish yesterday and folkes are catching a bunch of mullet, croaker, spot, and kingfish. The nearshore boats had ribbons, blues, spanish, and moonfish while the offshore guys brought home limits of mahi, wahoo, sailfish, and blue marlin.

Charters for this next week. We do have openings from the main marinas and a few spots open in Coroall just give us a shout and we will get you set up. Don't forget some great crabbing and shrimping can be had also which also makes for a great dinner.

Send your fishing pictures to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will proudly post them in the fish report.
