A Toothy week. We had quite a few photos sent in so let's get to it. Peyton our part-time resident shark fisherman sent in his pic of a 6'10" sand tiger caught just 50' from the shoreline and this kid knows what he is doing. Mark McFadden sent in his photos and they managed to bring in a 7' sand tiger along with a 4' black tip so great job Mark. The last pics are from Peyton's friend up this week who landed an 82" and a 93" sand tiger and they missed 3 others and were caught on ribbonfish!! Great job to everyone and thank you for sending in your pics for everyone to see. Along the beach, we have been dealing with a rough current from time to time so it's been a little up and down for this week. Calm winds this morning so far and blue skies. Mullet, croaker, and spot are what's out there and we did have a report with some slot size drum landed up on the 4x4 beach right at the state line so we are seeing a little drum here and there and we have had a north wind for the last couple of days so the ocean has had a chop to it and they were caught with the tide going out. The piers this morning have a mixed bag of flounder, bluefish, spanish, perch, and spot. The nearshore fleet had large bluefish a few spanish, ribbons, and sea bass. The offshore fleet did bring home some yellowfin, mahi, wahoo, sailfish, and blue marlin. That will bring you back up to date as I missed yesterday as the shop has just been so busy there's just not enough time in the day sometimes.

We do have charters available check out the website or just call the shop and we will get you out on the water for a great adventure!!

Send your pictures to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will proudly post them and we thank you.
