OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Friday, August 4, 2023
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Cloudy and rainy today but we have had reports of more drum, flounder, mullet, croaker and of course sharks. Michael Holzwarth got what I believe is his first one. He had been trying all week and had a few problems but we got him rigged up and lookee lookee what a nice one he landed. Most folks are not on the beach today just due to the weather so not a bunch to report. The pies were slow this morning but we have seen some good catches as of late. Offshore yesterday found yellowfin, mahi, wahoo, and blue marlin.

Charters for next week looking good we do have openings just call the shop for details. The shrimp and crab trips also doing well and the shrimp are very good size right now yes you keep what you catch!!

Send your photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and you can be featured in our next fish report and we thank you.
