Corolla to Nags Head Sound

It is a great day to be on the beach today. We have flat conditions out and the water is clear. The temp still hanging at 50 degrees but the fishing up here is improving slowly. We have a pretty good mullet bite and they seem to be hitting the fish bites, shrimp and finger mullet is working as well. There are also puffers and a trout here and there. The season is just getting started and we have a bunch of anglers wanting the big stuff but it's just not here yet, but its still not to bad along the beach at this time and things will only get better.
The piers have mullet, perch, trout and some toads. The little bridge has small stripers on it today. There has been some activity on the bigger striper, my guess more than likely on the inside somewhere. Inshore charter boats found some reds running around and had there way with them yesterday. This is a good sign that they maybe moving up. Offshore wacked the yellowfin and had some gaffer size mahi come in and the boxes were stuffed full.

We are pretty stocked up on everything and ready for the Easter rush and we will be open 8 to 4 land later if need be so come on in we have some great deals on reels and other gear so we will see you soon.
