Corolla Fish Report
Bait Balls and Bluefish is the word from the beach today. Tom sent in a report of bait and blues 50 yards from the beach this morning and then he also sent in a photo from his fly fishing day with a nice drum. Well done Sir Tom!! Pretty flat ocean today and the water has cleaned up from this morning. Croaker, mullet, and bluefish in the surf with the sharking last night being very good with one angler catching 9 sharks. Blues, spanish, and black sea bass on the piers this morning. Offshore fishing has mahi and tilefish while most of the boats are finishing up with the pirates cove fishing tournament they have been after billfish and there are plenty of flags flying. In the inlet drum and trout are there and the fishing sound side in Corolla is still very good.
