Another day and yet more Drum. Up on Carova Beach, we had a 48" hit yesterday by one of the local residents. The pics were sent in by our Captain James on The Hitman and hit some good drum on just a 1/2 day trip in the afternoon so the drum bite is really on right now. Some folks who have been coming for years to the outer banks have finally caught their first drum. Along with the drum, there are bluefish, mullet, flounder and spot out there. We have good conditions for now with a water temp of 75 today. Not much on the piers this morning some mullet and blues. Nearshore boats doing well with of course drum and trout but they are also getting ribbons, spansh, king mackerel, sea bass, and bluefish. Offshore boats filled their boxes up with yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, mahi, sailfish, white and blue marlin, and as soon as this stupid storm passes through I will be out there myself giving it a try and can't wait. That's it in a nutshell will keep you posted. If you happen to notice on the last report I had a major computer malfunction so my apologies.

Charters are open and ready call the shop to book.

Send in your fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
