Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

A little windy and cool today but then we warm back up, thank goodness. The current is much better today as well we are back to around 4oz to hold the bottom. We did have a couple of pictures sent in and Noah Stewart landed a a nice trout and a small shark up on the 4x4 beach so great job Noah!! I haven't heard of many trout up here but it's good to see one and I hope we start to see more of them. I am hearing about a lot of these small sharks being caught by just about everyone. There should also be puppy drum, mullet, bluefish, croaker and flounder around with a water temp today of 70 degrees. The water looks much better so it is much cleaner than a couple of days ago with a 2 to 3-foot swell. Charters are running this week and there are blues and spanish, drum on the half-day trips. Out in the gulf we have tuna. mahi and sailfish fish for your pleasure. The piers are still seeing some big bulls coming in with croakers and spot. The good news is the conditions are improving.

Charters for this week are available just call the shop and we will get you on the water.

Send your photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you!
