Corolla Fish Report
Picture perfect day we have today. It is a nice October day out and the water is looking pretty clear but I did hear the current picked up last night and is working the anglers good today and I would say we are in the 6 oz range to hold bottom. Reports from the beach are mixed with some seeing little action while others doing well. We have had puppy drum with a trout here and there and the culprits for breaking all the lines yesterday are indeed bluefish and they are decent size blues so beware. There are also a bunch of sharks out there and I am not sure what kind they are but they average about two and a half feet and some anglers are catching them by the dozen. Other reports from the beach today are 8" or so pompano, mullet, black drum with shrimp and mullet doing the trick. Catching high tide is the key after the tide goes out it does slow down.
