Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Just more of the same, sunshine, wide open beaches, and some decent fishing what more can you ask for? We will start off with Tyler up on the 4x4 beach landed this 25" drum which is definitely a keeper. Steve sent in his pic of what looks like another good size drum and said he got this one at low tide so great job everybody and thanks for the pictures. The water today is a little dirty today but we do have a nice swell hitting the beach so that is good for the fishing. The temp today is 68 for the water and we can enjoy this weather till Tuesday. So we know there are drum out there along with some trout, bluefish, and mullet. Shrimp and mullet are working the best for the baits right now. I didn't get a pier report this morning but we do have some boating reports. Offshore had a nice day on the blackfin tuna and mahi and a few sails were caught and released. There is also a lot of king mackerel down south not far off of the beach and you can get as many as you would want they are tearing it up and from what I am hearing they range from 15 #s to 45 #s. Nearshore trips saw albacore, kings, sea bass, and ribbonfish with drum and trout to the inside. There are also a bunch of different Halloween activities to do as well. I will keep you posted as best as I can.

Charters are available.

Send your photos to obxbaitandtackl@yahoo.com and we do thank you!
So there are plenty of fishermen taking advantage of this fall season right now
