Cloudy and warm weather today with some scattered thunderstorms in the area. Fishing has improved over the past couple of days. Water temp is 65 degrees and the SW wind is 7 mph. Cobia, Sea Mullet, Blues, Spanish, and Drum have been caught up and down the beaches. Avalon: Puppy Drum, Trout, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and small Flounder. Nags Head: Slow. Jennette's: Sea Mullet, Blues, Spanish, small Flounder, Cobia. OBX: Puppy Drum and Bluefish. Local Surf: Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Cobia. Inshore/Nearshore: Bluefish, Spanish, few Cobia. Offshore: Strong Yellowfin bite and Big-eye.
