Corolla Fishing Report

OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fishing Report
Wednesday, June 7, 2017
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Fishing is slow along the beach. The waves will pick up today and tomorrow making it very tough fishing conditions. Things will begin to calm down on Friday and the weekend is looking really good both for the surf and for offshore. With the wind shifting the water temp has come up to 72 degrees this morning, now will have to wait a bit to see how this affects the fishing. The reports up here have been slow with mullet and a few puppy drum. The piers have been somewhat quiet but are getting bluefish, puppy drum and mullet. Nearshore is reporting a good number of spanish in the area and some bluefish mixed in. Offshore has all the yellowfin and dolphin you want right now.

Sorry for the lack of reports last week I was out but I am back to business now.
