OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fishing Report
Friday, August 11, 2017
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Cloudy today but should be a good day for fishing. Waves 1 to 2 feet with a 75-degree water temp. This has been the warmest water this summer we have had so we will see what happens today. Up here we have mullet, croaker, spot. We should see some bluefish and pompano return. Piers have bluefish, perch, pompano. Nearshore had an excellent day with drum, mahi, I know, spanish , bluefish, tilefish, sea bass and albacore. Inshore had A good trout day with drum and stripers. Offshore had limits of dolphin with yellowfin, blackfin, good size big eye, white marlin and sailfish. A good day to be on the water.

We do have fishing charters from half day to all day on some great boats and captains. We also have crab and shrimp trips that are a lot of fun for everyone and you keep what you catch. Give us a call or check us out on are web site. Thanks and will be back tomorrow.
