Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Beautiful day out today and we have a late report. Water temp is at 75 and we have some good size waves and the reports of the beach is that it is very hard to keep anything out there due to the current. Im, sure there are fish out there it's just hard to get to them. The piers did ok with a good mix of puppy, black drum, sea bass, bluefish, perch. Inshore are getting trout and puppy drum. Nearshore had bluefish and spanish. A few boats got out and landed a few yellowfin and a couple of sailfish. The word I was getting is that they are in the process of pulling boats out of the water in preparation for the storm as all of our trips were canceled.
