Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Sorry I missed you yesterday. Today partly sunny this morning with 2 to 3-foot waves and a water temp of 70 degrees. The piers are doing well this morning which is a good sign as to there should be the same thing going on in the surf. We have reports of the beach of black drum, puppy drum, sheepshead, mullet, spot. The pier action starting with Avalon, they have 5 red drum, mullet, bluefish, croaker, pompano, black drum. Nags Head has spot, croaker, blues. Jennette's has 1 red drum, spot, perch, black drum, puffers. Last but not least OBX pier has spot and blues. Inshore has really good drum and trout bite going on. Nearshore had some speckled trout. Offshore had a few boats out with some limiting out on mahi, some bailer dolphin, and yellowfin were caught.

Just an FYI the store is in its fall season and our hours of operation are 8 am to 4 pm. So if your coming up just be aware we are closing a bit earlier now.
