Cloudy skies but it's going to be a hot one. A big congratulations to Mike Kochan from PA. He and his son came down for a week and had never surf fished before so we hooked them up for what they needed. Mike had returned after the first day and said the pole just wasn't working but low and behold it looks like it worked the second day. He landed this nice puppy drum and I believe takes first place this week. Great job Mike look forward to seeing you next year!! Waves are flat this morning with a temp of 68. Locally we have seen flounder. mullet with ray's and skate. The pier action this morning has blues and mullet on them. Little bridger seeing trout and spot. Nearshore and inshore are getting spanish, bluefish, cobia, bonita and there's word of big drum moving into the sound. Offshore is still making anglers happy with really nice yellowfin, mahi, tilefish, black seabass and big eye.
