Corolla Fishing Report
Overcast this morning and we still have flat conditions out with 1-foot waves and water temp around 77. A big shout out to Ben from Bluemont Virginia catching this nice striper on the sound side in long oak channel well done Ben. Not too much to report around here I haven't heard anything from the beach. There have been fish caught but it seems we are in some sort of waiting pattern at the moment. The piers have spanish and mullet and spadefish. Little bridge hgas spot, trout and flounder. Inshore fishing has mullet, croaker and some blues. Nearshore has done well with good spanish fishing along with some ribbon fish, king mackerel and bluefish and a few cobia. Offshore doing well on yellowfin, big eye, mahi and the deep drop for tilefish is also good. Captain Troy was out on a charter booked through us and had a great day with a 139# big eye along with yellowfin and mahi.
With the fishing offshore right now boats are filling up fast. If thinking of a charter it is a good idea to book early weeks are completely booking out. We are still redoing our web page on charters if you have any questions please give us a call or to book. Thank you
