Corolla Fishing Report
Hot today, water temp 68 with the waves around 1 foot. We will see a wind shift and the water is a little dirty. Maybe a little tough the next couple of days but then things should clear up. We have mullet, croaker and haven't heard of much. The piers have muddy conditions this morning but have spanish and blues croaker and mullet. Nearshore boats are doing well on the half day trips with plenty of spanish and ribbon fish. Offshore is doing well with yellowfin, mahi, big eye, wahoo. Captain Troy on the Carolina girl hit this nice 73 lb. wahoo yesterday with these skipjacks. They lost two large tunas at the boat, it seems the sharks were hungry.
Charters are available but book early trips are filling up fast!!
