Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Good morning everyone this is what the surf looks like this morning with calm waves and calm wind. Fishing is really good along the beach with plenty of bluefish and spanish and yes some are small but there have been larger fish too and in some cases, it's non stop action on the metal lures. We also have mullet some flounder most have been just undersize. There is still a lot of bait in the water. The pier action is mostly blues and spanish. Reports of cobia in the surf down in Hatteras. Nearshore boats are having some great conditions right now and getting there share of some nice spanish. Offshore having their way on the white marlin with a couple of blues caught as well, limits of mahi and some blackfin tuna in the mix.

Unusually quiet this morning as we move into the fishing season you can tell the heavy part of the season is over Plenty of room on the beach now to do all the fishing you want and the permits for the off-road beach are over you can now park for free now and enjoy. I plan on getting out there on Thursday and try my luck.
