Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Near perfect outside this morning with calm winds and the waves around 2 foot right now but look for a small increase starting later this afternoon. We have 77-degree water and is pretty clear. We have along the beach some mullet, bluefish, pompano, spot, and some small black drum. The pier action is mostly bluefish and spanish this morning with some small flounder and mullet at obx pier. Little bridge is slow with some bottom fish. Nearshore doing well with false albacore, spanish, bluefish, king mackerel. Inside we have flounder, mullet and some small cobia. Offshore had a great day with plenty of blackfin, wahoo, mahi with some good catches of white and blue marlin.

Played a little hooky yesterday and took Madalena one of our student employees from Romania out for her first time fishing. Showed her just one time on what to do and she took over and did very well. She caught some small black drum, pompano, spot, and some mullet. We were only out for a couple of hours and had a blast. If you don't believe in beginners luck she out fished me 7 to 5 needles to say I do !! Surf fishing is really good right now most fish are small so light tackle is the way to go and is a lot more fun and there are some bigger fish out there.
