Founded on the basis of fun and flight, the Outer Banks Brewtäg strives to be an event chock-full of education, recreation, culture, community and wholehearted palate pleasin’ for the whole family.
We are hand-pickin’ some of the tastiest grub in the area. We’ve selected the finest brews that Eastern North Carolina has to offer. We’re jammin’ to tunes that are just loaded with the passion and soul that is the Outer Banks. Oh…and we are watching amazing teams launch their handcrafted, manmade, half-barrel-keg-driven flying machines from a flight deck leading them straight into aviation history — right here — right where flight began!
Proceeds from the Outer Banks Brewtäg benefit The Rogallo Foundation. The Rogallo Foundation was created to honor Francis and Gertrude Rogallo, inventors of the flexible wing; preserve their priceless records, artifacts, and research; interpret their incredible story; and protect this legacy of free flight for millions of people in all the Nations of the world; to stimulate and support research and education in aerodonetics the science of gliding and soaring flight and low speed aerodynamics.
