The offshore fleet was spread out all over the ocean yesterday. Lots of TUNAS hooked but the sharks got must of them. Some boats had 20 to 30 tuna bites. Hopefully the sharks take the 4th off. Boats caught limits of  TILEFISH, few WAHOO, and few BLUE MARLIN.

Inshore boats caught very few SPANISH MACKEREL, few BLUEFISH ,some COBIA, few KING MACKEREL, and great SHEEPSHEAD fishing around the bridges.

The sound continues to be really good with PUPPY DRUM and nice TROUT.

Jennettes pier caught a really nice KING MACKEREL this morning and I heard a few more  were seen but still waiting on an evening update. Piers also caught BLUEFISH, SPANISH MACKEREL, SHEEPSHEAD, SEA MULLET, and few POMPANO.

The beach fishing was ok with catches of PUPPY DRUM, POMPANO, SEA MULLET, and POMPANO. Also I heard of several nice SAND TIGERS landed from the beach last night.

The tuna picture is from the skirt chaser, Kelly Hogan with the 10.24 pound sheepshead, and Kayla Lynn Harbin with the nice puppy drum.
