Offshore fishing yesterday was really really good. Some guys had boxes full of YELLOWFIN. Some limits of MAHI and some guys caught several BILLFISH. All of this good fishing was pretty much in the same area. The skirt chaser caught a great catch of TUNA and MAHI. This was one of the better BILLFISH days of the season. The boat haulin gas caught 3 BLUE MARLIN today. Boats caught SAILS, WHITE MARLIN, and BLUE MARLIN.

Inshore boats caught KING MACKEREL, COBIA, SPANISH MACKEREL, and some BIG DRUM. Good fishing!!

Sound fishing was good with PUPPY DRUM and TROUT caught. Several nice SHEEPSHEAD around the bridges still. FLOUNDER are still all over the place. I am glad the season will be open soon. More and more BIG DRUM are being caught each day. Captain Danny Wadsworth caught the big drum in the picture below this morning.

Piers are catching lots of different fish. Few KING MACKEREL, some COBIA, SPANISH MACKEREL, BLUE FISH, SPOT, SEA MULLET, POMPANO, and FLOUNDER.

Surf fishing is getting pretty good. Joe White caught the 33in drum in the picture below on the north beach today. Several customers were catching lots of small pompano and some sea mullets. The point in buxton has been catching big Spanish off of the beach. On the next northeast blow we might see some big drum on the piers and beach.
