Today the winds were out of the northwest with scattered rain showers. No boats that I know of went offshore. This Wahoo was 111 pounds and caught last week in Florida. A friend sent me this picture. I think he said it was the first day of a big Wahoo tournament. No beach reports today but I talked to a customer that caught sea mullet at ramp 34 on Wednesday. Hopefully the water warms up and they continue to push north. No more drum caught at the point after that fish Travis caught earlier in the week. Next week is looking good with some southwest wind. A few more shad being caught on the little bridge but not many people out there fishing. Trout and puppy drum are still being caught in the sound. Freshwater is getting better and better with the warming temperatures. We just got stocked back up with freshwater minnows today.
