Some Black Drum Being Caught
It has been a great week around the shop.
We've heard so many stories from the beaches and piers of folks from all over catching fish. Down south around the point and other spots along the beach we've seen Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, And some Black drum being caught. Still lots of Dogfish and Skate out there but we've seen some kids with huge smiles on their face from pulling them in.
In the Sound there have been a few Drum, lots of Catfish and Trout. Little bridge has been hit or miss with Trout starting to show up. Trout have also been biting in the surf, with some being caught of the piers too.
The last couple days have been a bit rough for boats to make it offshore, don't worry they be out there soon!
The weekend is here, fresh cobs are on ice, new styles for spring have hit our racks, and we've packed the house with tons of new tackle!
