After staring at buck tails the last couple days all I can do is think about cobia fishing. Maybe we will get lucky again and it will be early. The Oceans East Cobia Tournament will be May 15-17 this year. We also decided to have our tuna tournament on the same three days. Our tournament party and awards will be at the Pirates Cove Pavilion Sunday the 17th. Today’s fishing report was great offshore with big bluefin tuna still everywhere. Beach fishing was slow with some dogs caught. I did hear about a couple shad being caught so hopefully it will get better and better the next few weeks. Still great bass and crappie fishing.
