Warm temps again today and the wind was still blowing Southwest. Most of the offshore fleet were blown out today but yesterday they had limits of yellowfin and really good bluefin action. The one boat that I talked to today had a great yellowfin catch. Beach fishing is starting to heat up with some shad showing up in the surf in the Nagshead area. Ramp 34 south to hatteras inlet there was plenty of sea mullet and scattered blow toads caught. Sound fishing is also getting better everyday with the water warming up. The last couple days the little bridge on the Nagshead/Manteo causeway has been catching trout and shad. Freshwater fishing continues to be really good bass and crappie fishing.
