Event Description:
Ocracoke Island celebrates its vibrant Latino community with this weekend dedicated to sharing and learning about cultural traditions. Experience delicious authentic food, traditional dances, music and games, create crafts and partake in other fun avenues for all ages. Various locations throughout the island host this event. Stay tuned to schedule updates about the music concerts, demonstrations, workshops, feasts, dances and the culminating basketball tournament.
Festival Latino de Ocracoke is organized by the Ocracoke Latino community with the support of Ocracoke Alive, a community non-profit committed to enriching Ocracoke Island. Additional support is provided by Ocracoke Occupancy Taxes, and private individuals and businesses.
