Offshore fishing out of Oregon Inlet has been solid this week. Boats are finding good numbers of mahi mahi, with both small and larger fish being caught. There's also been some steady marlin action, with a few nice blue and white marlin releases reported. Conditions have been calm, and the bite has been consistent for those making the run offshore.

Fishing near and inside the inlet has been steady and fun. Inshore waters are offering speckled trout, puppy drum, and bluefish, especially around grass lines and channels. Nearshore trips are seeing hits from Spanish mackerel, bluefish, cobia, and puppy drum, with occasional albacore or king mackerel.

Now’s a great time to get out there—plenty of life in the water and some great catches coming back to the docks.
