Event Description:
Join nationally acclaimed humanities scholar and author-historian Clay Jenkinson, of the Thomas Jefferson Hour on NPR, for a three-night series where he takes audiences into three of his favorite historic figures. He will appear as Meriweather Lewis at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk on Monday, March 23; as Sir Walter Raleigh at the Sound Stage at the Lost Colony in Manteo on Tuesday, March 24; and as Shakespeare at First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills on Wednesday, March 25. In character, Jenkinson will explore the fascinating backgrounds and works of these figures. These events are part of the Bryan Cultural Series.
