Guided Hike at Nags Head Woods
Event Description:
Join us Thursdays for a slow-paced nature hike. This activity is great for beginners and those who want to learn more about the preserve. We’ll look at butterflies, birds, and the botany of Nags Head Woods and discuss the natural and cultural history of the area. This hike is about 2 miles long. Participants can join for all or parts of it.
This is a free family activity — All ages and experience levels are welcome! When exploring Nags Head Woods in the summer, we suggest wearing long pants and sturdy shoes and bringing bug spray, water, and binoculars (if you have them).
