Take a trip back to the days of hot rods, drive-ins, sock hops, poodle skirts and pompadours with Lucky 757’s Rock ’n Roll Revue: A Tribute to the First Decade of the Rock Era. Rock ’n roll, rockabilly doo-wop, rhythm & blues, soul, surf, beach and more.
This high energy, multimedia show stars national recording artists and five-time VEER Music Award winners Lucky 757. Through video, narration and wardrobe changes, audiences are taken on a journey from Sun Studio in Memphis in the early 1950s, to the streets and alleys of the big cities where doo-wop was born, all the way through to the early sixties where all kinds of new sounds and styles were emerging from coast to coast.
