Y'all let me tell you something..this past week of fishing has been epic across all fleets and today was no different! The Nearshore fleet had a great day of Spanish Mackerel fishing as well as a few Albacore. The Offshore fleet had a banner day releasing White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish! A Grand Slam for the fleet! A few Mahi Mahi and a citation size Wahoo were brought in as well. But that's not all.. the fish that shall not be named has started rearing is delicious head..a few Yellowfin Tuna were also brought to the docks this afternoon! Hopefully this is a good sign for the upcoming Tuna run! Everyone say a prayer to the weather gods tonight.. it is looking questionable for the weekend and with fishing this hot we NEED to go fishing!
