Mahi and Marlin
Starting out a little foggy this morning here at Pirates Cove Marina but it turned out to be a beautiful day! The Offshore fleet came in with lots of Gaffer Dolphin with some over 50 Pounds! Lots of Yellowfin Tuna being thrown up on the docks this afternoon also! Congratulation's to angler Mike Cunico on the Waste Knot on releasing a 400 plus pound Blue Marlin! What a great day to be fishing.
Our Nearshore Fleet came in with a mixed bag this afternoon! Catching Flounder, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Trout, and some Sea Mullet!
Also good luck to all of our boats that are headed to Morehead City for The Big Rock Tournament! Wishing the best of luck and the best catches to Carly A, Marlin Gull, Sandra D, Sea Toy and Sushi! Stay tuned for updates as the Tournament progresses!
